I think you need to tip your cap to the move to the bullpen by TCU early in a tight game. It was the only coaching move that mattered in this game.

TCU is a damn good team. Credit to them for building a solid rotation.

This isn't true. Pulling Newman, for whatever reason, was a huge turning point. He could have given LSU 3-4 solid innings.

Godfrey was a waste pretty much all season. We tried to power pitch, but the only effective guys had movement. Those guys needed more work. The move to Bain seemed to spiral out of control and we never retained any momentum.
