umm NO. Michigan did not want or make an offer to Les this time around. There are no sunshine pumpers in Michican, they recognize the same flaws in CLM that the negitigers do.

I call BS on that. When Harris came into the game against MS St the offensive line started blocking harder, the receivers were catching everything thrown at them and the running backs were doing everything they could to break tackles and get extra yards. Even the defense stepped it up and started pressuring Dak Prescott. In short the whole team responded better to Harris than they did Jennings.

I'm not saying we win those games, but I also don't think we get gashed up the middle as much or lose by as much.
Well, I can agree with that. But at the end of the day, a loss is a loss, be it by 5 points or 50.

If Harris "explodes" that means he's at least as good as Mett 2013 so I say we are playing for the SEC championship.

I don't post on her much, but I love reading both the negatigers and the positigers points of view. Both point of views usually offer valid feelings and partial truths.

I usually partially agree with both. I like Miles and never wanted him to leave, but he does seem aloof at times and too hard headed.

I think as a head coach you have to make tough decisions and we don't have the time nor get paid to watch every practice, every film, and know the insides of the decision not to play Harris last year. Guy could be a stud and didn't know the offense, could not handle the pressure, and didn't give us the best chance to win. However, when the season was essentially lost (no sec west or Nc hopes) I am in firm belief that Harris should have seen the field. I find this unacceptable, but I stay positive with Les, because I also understand he was a FRESHMAN. Many of our skill players are FRESHMAN. I can move on with that in mind.

Next year if I see Jennings either overthrowing or throwing ducks on 7 yard slants or screens I will vomit. I think, yes, Brandon Harris doing well will validate Miles again and we can forget about the mistakes of last year. However I am also aware he may not be our savior, and I will also be disappointed if we have no options at QB again. This will be on Les and his ability to either recruit for our system or his ability to develop qb's with Cam taking blame as well.

Long answer yes Brandon Harris doing well will make all well with Les and Harris, and all well with Les and the fan base and everything will be forgotten from last year. If we have the same results then we have to blame Les for the lack of qb and OL recruitment. We have the skill players to have an explosive offense. Legitimate 1st rounders on both sides of the ball and if we do not compete for sec west champs then the season will be a disappointment IMO.

I'm sure most won't read and don't care just wanted to get it out.

The. How did Met, odj, Landry, and hill go off last year. They ran their own offence.

. I watched every game just like I do every year, but if you insert two starting NFL receivers, a starting NFL qb, and a starting NFL running back It doesn't really matter what you run. The offense wasn't any different in 2013 than it was this year, but they just had to talent to make it work. The best coaches find ways to work with what they have instead of trying to fit a square peg in a round hole an entire season.

Actually, he would be the first QB to come straight out of high school under Miles to show any significant improvement at all.

Football wise, RP was set to explode on the college football scene by his RSJr season had his personal life not been in shambles. He was a great HS QB but so were Harris, Jennings and Lee. Perrilloux's pocket awareness and ability to read defenses greatly improved during his three years on the team.

Depends if Harris plays great all year then Miles pulls a 1/9 once we reach the Championship game.

Somehow those not so good quarterbacks at other schools find a way to complete more than 7 passes a game.

No...just like a sociopath cant grow a conscience...Miles will never change his Offensive philosophy
With that said....if BH does develop, now would be the time to let the offense evolve.

I agree that Perrilloux was a very good QB and did improve while he was at LSU and he would have been a lot of fun to watch play that position. After RP was dismissed and the JL pick six season it was like Les just gave up on letting the QBs do what they're suppose to do. After 2008, the offense turned into what we see every game in the present. It's almost like Les will never trust another QB again and refuses to let them play. I honestly don't think it would matter with Jennings but Harris has the skill set to be a damn good QB if they will allow it. Our offense was a lot different when RP was on campus than it is right now.

Just like there is a portion of the fan base who worship the ground he walks on and spreads rose petals in his path. It goes both ways. If he shows the want to and ability to adjust and gets this program back on track, I'll support him and give him credit. Though history indicates otherwise, he can do it. The ball is in his court. This DC hire can make or break him just as fast as his QB fiasco.

If you think Harris is the man, why did he look mediocre whenever he got to play in 2014?
