So, what do you think the outside of the stadium ticket market will be like?

Do you think there will be some real bargains, maybe even better than normal home game?

Or will the S. Carolina people traveling and the LSU people happy to have a game in Death Valley ad the curiosity seekers gobble up all the tickets and lead to a seller's market?

Alabama had a home field advantage in new orleans for a national championship game vs LSU. That should tell you what you need to know.

Unless there are a lot people buying the maximum amount of tickets not knowing how many they will use, I'd expect people are only buying what they need.

Brian Broussard said in the press conference that it would be a bad idea to buy off of the street for this game since people could make several copies of their ticket (print at home tickets) and the scanners will only allow 1 ticket per seat.

but this has all makings for a disaster, copy the tickets and be the first to gate, and the one who is late won't get in because Barcode has been readed.

I don't see there being much of a gameday ticket market. There's zero chance that the game will sell out. People will only be buying tickets if they know they are going (and those plans likely won't change since it is so close to gameday). So, there aren't going to be a ton of extra tickets in the hands of people. LSU, however, will likely have tons of tickets left over. For those reasons, I just don't see may tickets being sold for above or below face value outside the stadium. JMO

I don't think there will be much of a market at all...since the game is only a couple of days from now, everyone pretty much knows whether they are plan to go or not and will buy accordingly...

why would there be bargains?...its a game that we are buying tickets for today or tomorrow. Why would people pay for tickets at the last minute that they don't need.

Guy called on Moscona's show saying he's a season ticket holder and that a previous caller had brought 10 seats in section 103 and now is unable to get seats. He goes on StubHub and sees that his tickets are on sale for $130! Dude sounds butthurt and depressed at the same time.

I'd totally avoid buying "bargains" this game. It's not part of a package deal with season tickets, it's a one-time event.
Nobody who doesn't plan on going is likely to be buying them, unless they are planning on scalping them. Since there are tons of legit seats still available, I wouldn't give money to some random dude.

I hope anyone trying to scalp tickets for this game takes a huge loss.

meh

There are always tickets floating around...and there will be plenty for this game, IMO.

Sure, you'll have the option of buying from LSU (I just did)...but for people wanting to save some money they will be able to get cheap tickets outside.

Somehow, I'm not really surprised by this thread.....cheap tickets for a CHARITY type game....REALLY ?
Anyone wanting to go to this game will decide today, thur. or fri. what makes you think they want to pay $75,70,65 + and then turn around and discount them to "bargain" hunters...I hope there are ZERO available...LOL

There were absolutely no tickets at all before 2 pm (or so) today. So, where do you think these "cheap tickets" will come from? Random people scrambling to buy today, then changing their minds/plans in 2 days?

Just my opinion, but you'll only find 2 types of deals outside the stadium: asswipes trying to scalp and make a few bucks by selling higher than what they paid, and scammers selling worthless pieces of paper.

No!! People didn't know about this game till today. This ticket did not exist. So there was no hoarding.

Also, LSU has not opened all sections. If there is demand, LSU will open more sections.

Scalpers will be quite rare for this game. Of course, there will be some who buy their full allotment of tickets and regret.

This is not a marquee game.

I think their will be some for sale but as others said I would be wary. I think their will be a lot of people at this game who have had a hard time going to others.
