So what do we do about the university now?

In the last year alone, we've lost a system president, chancellor, provost, several deans, and faculty. Now we just lost Eric Monday too.
The losses on the academic side are a trend here. I'm great we have a damn strong football team, but what happens when there is no univeristy for the football team to play for?

LSU won't see the grave for a very long time if ever.
while LSU is taking lots of cuts its not going anywhere
and the AD is supported by TAF so what happens at the university (academically) has no impact on the AD.

good point, but if we tear down the library, we'll have a lot more room for gameday parking, oh wait 'Clueless Joe' will charge us for it

Take this to the OT. While LSUs academic issues are disconcerting, they are insulated from the TAF/athletic program (except for when the athletic program gives the university million$).
