What happened to all of the "rich almuni/backers" buying him out?

What made Alleva say what he said?

Why did Les tell the Gridiron Club that A&M would be his last game?

What just happened?

Les has bigger nuts than Alleva, TAF and the board of supervisors

We are obviously not a destination program, for whatever reason.

Jimbo backed out and there is no way they would take a chance with another coach.

That could well be the case. And frick the people within the administration, TAF or whomever leaked shite prematurely. I don't even blame the media.

Jimbo told yall he was very interested if the money was right. Your AD and board took it as a yes and they made an arse of it.

I can promise you that's what it was and I can promise you it came down to the wire.

I told y'all that this was mostly a media/message board fantasy-clusterfrick that spiraled out of control.

It forced them to start a process they had no interest in and weren't prepared to start. When Jimbo quickly shut any speculation down, they had their "out".

They are making it look like miles will keep his job.

They are making it look like he will announce retirement on his own.

That's the only thing I can think of. That's the only way this could have been handled this way, over the last two weeks.

Those big time backers were all talk. Didn't have the money, just the mouth, in my opinion.
That and can't find anyone else to come to this effers up atmosphere.

You're absolutely right. Alleva needs to GTFO. It was ALLEVA communicating with TAF. It was Alleva making promises and misleading donors. frick him.

Jimbo said, "No."

Fuente said, "Yes," to Tech.

I think Miles inadvertently saved his job with the Gridiron gaffe earlier this week. It produced a nonsensical public outcry which scared the ad and boosters.
