Basically it says we should keep Miles and not hope for any real home run hires. Which I kind of agree with considering some of the circumstances

Miles is too damaged to keep at this point I'm afraid. His ability to effectively recruit (as well as that of his staff) has taken a Mike Tyson punch right in the balls

Why would anyone want to keep a coach that is now a lame duck for next year IF he were to be given a next year? For the few that wanted him to stay, the damage has been done! There is no turning back now

Alleva has cut miles off at the knees by not supporting him publicly, no assistants will want to come in to this situation now without a new coach. The only way to retain miles is to fire alleva and have the new AD come out in full support of CLM and havr coordinator changes.

Any sports writer that writes: "Success is subjective" shouldn't be writing about sports or life for that matter. His next sentence starts with the team: Vanderbilt

Now I understand his first sentence about success being subjective.

Once the board member opened his ignorant mouth, it was over. Miles can no longer look a recruit in the eyes and tell them he will definitely be at lsu for his career.
