He did a solid job up until last season, I completely agree with that.

If you truly believe this, then you dont fire someone based on 1 season. You give them the opportunity to fix the problems. If he cant, then he needs to be on his way. There is enough talent on the team to finish top 4 in the conference, if we dont shite the bed non conference like we did last year, then we should be a tourney team.

Wait, we are talking about the 2016-2017 team here, right?

Good golly. Your delusions have reached comical levels.

I had the opportunity to meet Pinkins, his wife and children. They are very nice and good people. He reminded me of a soft spoken Johnny Jones. While he is a very nice guy, he is not what this program needs. I said this in a thread last week, if Johnny is going to be our head coach then we need some energetic assistants. I would not describe Al Pinkins as the most energetic.

On the other hand, this is a sinking ship anyway.

Not gonna hurt the team because Pinkins couldn't score, rebound or play defense. Same goes for Darcy.

I've known him and his family since he was in high school and had no idea he was at LSU!

I'm comforted in knowing Johnny won't rest until he finds coaches to fill out his staff. He was putting on his golf shoes next to me last week in the parking lot of the U Club, therefore, I assume many good candidates were playing that day.

WOW! LSU fans are the best.

We lost a stud like Darcy Malone. Of course everybody is going to jump ship. Darcy Malone was singlehandedly going to lead us to the Final Four next year, so now all hope is lost!!!

I kid, I kid....
