Pinkins, a native of Camilla, Georgia, joined the Tiger program prior to the 2015-16 season, after coaching in the SEC for one year at Tennessee and three seasons at Ole Miss. “We appreciate all of Coach Pinkins contributions to our program last season,” said Coach Jones. “We wish him and his family all the best.”

It just keeps getting better for LSU Basketball. I am laughing because this is quite on par for how the season ended.

Please elaborate. In your own words, tell us about Pinkins and what he brought to the table for LSU

The man loses assistants each year. He's the worst hire in LSU history. The sooner he is replaced the better.

LSU basketball is a dumpster fire until Johnny Jones leaves the program.

I used to be a Johnny Jones supporter too. There's a lot to like about Johnny. The guy loves LSU, and no one wants to take LSU to greatness more than Johnny. This is his dream job, and I love the fact someone wants to LSU basketball that badly.

however, you're high as a fricking kite if you think Coach Jones is the answer for LSU basketball. national recruits are forever going to be skeptical of his ability to win championships after last season. He did a solid job up until last season, I completely agree with that. Still, last season was one of the biggest failures and disappointments of a season I can recall for LSU athletics.

Anyway I'm not really sure about the significance of Pinkins leaving. I thought he had a nice resume coming in, and he didn't even really have any post talent to work with minus Victor

I'm comforted in knowing Johnny won't rest until he finds coaches to fill out his staff. He was putting on his golf shoes next to me last week in the parking lot of the U Club, therefore, I assume many good candidates were playing that day.

This pretty much sums it up!

FWIW, just an assistant coach who is leaving. I don't work under CJJ or in the Men's basketball program so kinda hard for me to "elaborate". If you have any inside on him smart arse please feel free to share

I'm not worried at all I'm sure his replacement will be the great X&O's guy we've been waiting on to help Johnny out! 5th time is the charm
