So what if there is a 9 win season vs a 10 win season? Bowl projections effect? LF is gets 1300 vs 1500 yrds? What's the overall effect for a NC or Heisman season?

We would have won. Nobody is going to hold this against us at the end of the season. Now It's possible it could affect the heisman however if fournette does what he needs to so and dominates the big games he will be fine.

the only thing it screws up are stats. If we cant get to six wins without this game then we dont deserve to go to a bowl game. I also dont think being 9-2 vs 10-2 will change the bowl game, the people in charge will be smart enough to figure out we would have won that game anyway.

fournette doesnt care about the heisman and neither should you, he'll win next year. We only make the playoff by winning the sec which a game against mcneese doesnt count towards. If we dont make the playoff who the frick cares what bowl we're in?

I don't get all the Heisman concerns.

This team should really spread the ball around anyway, and, had we actually played the game, I suspect LF would have seen limited carries.

Well I feel for some of the young guys that started, essentially their first start in Tiger Stadium is wiped from the record books.

Who cares. LF was not going to get more than 15 carries in that game and possibly not even that many.

He was not winning or losing the Heisman vs McNeese.

If he comes out and blows up State next week, he will be one of the early frontrunners.

The game was cancelled, that means it was never played nor will it ever be played. Piss and moan about it all you want, but that's not going to change the outcome of stats, the season, the record, or anything else from this point on. LSU will play the season with the hand that they were dealt. What's so hard about accepting what happened and moving on to our next game? Is this board filled with bitchy arse women or what?

No, literally no one is worried. Not concerned.

this is the most non issue of all non issues ever brought up here.

If we fail to win 6 games because we didn't beat McNeese, we will be in full new coach search mode and will not in anyway be worried about not scratching out New Years Eve in Shreveport.

10 carries would have got him 100 yards. We didnt learn shite but the read option was run perfectly by Harris. DE layed back to play harris and LF got 8 easy yards.

You do realize that there are people with actual intelligence on these selection committees. This is no longer a computer generated ranking.

Heisman is pondered over with great care but one of the most important stats is that of the team he plays for. Without a winning season, everything is a mute point .

What would being worried about it accomplish?

I agree with your assessment of the op and whiners. However, begin female, I take offense to your insulting women like that. (JK)

Seriously, there are more whiney, girly boys on TD than I can imagine. Women are actually tougher than that.

We are Tigers. If those young men don't beat Moo State, I am utterly ashamed. They beat us last year in a fluke and have NEVER won 2 times in a row. Not even in Curly's era.

Not really...the records are pretty much bs anyway since they play 2-3 more games than they did 20-30 years ago

gamblers who did any over/unders are really worried

I am only worried about how it effects our next game.

NC- If we do our job we will get in. SEC has been too strong. 12-1 SEC champion isn't getting left out.

Heisman- Certainly doesn't help. All Heisman winners need games like this to pad stats.
