I'll be at the Auburn game tomorrow night leading a 1 man "frick You Bruce" crew from behind the Auburn bench. Look for me on the TV...

Classless for being passionate? You can be passionate without using vulgarity. And come up with more clever and creative chants.

Let the young uns have their fun and say their little cuss words. Part of the growing up process for some people. They just arent there yet.

I mean we "try" to play/sing neck at football games and most of our fans don't care?

Isn't this the frickin gospel? That we face a must win game on the road at Aubie...midway thru the season in order to have some chance to make the dance....with this talent? Mind-boggling and yet, here we are.

I don't know about that. Bruce Pearl strikes me as the type of guy who will go into the crowd himself to shut you up. Might take Bowers with him.

Is it really mind boggling? Missing Victor, Hornsby, and Patterson for a good stretch of the season made this team average on talent imo.

This team is 9-4 against a good schedule with the talent that we have.

And while we should have won some of the games we dropped early on, it just seems intellectually dishonest to bring up the talent we have in relation to our current position. The talent we have has played very, very well together.

I agree our win loss record with the entire group is respectable....I'd just really like to see JJ coach this group up a little more. I'm telling you guys this team could really be as high as a 4 or 5 seed with better coaching.

Now, with that being said just about any other coach at LSU (as we've seen) wouldn't have the amount of talent that we have today....so we would essentially be in the same boat with worse players coached up.

Either way basketball fans in south Louisiana might be screwed for the foreseeable future. We're destined to be a tournament team every three or four years (on average) and make a run in the tournament every ten or so.

Ummm... You do realize we made the tournament last year, and still have a very good chance this year.... That's better than every three or four years.

Ummm....I did say on average...

No disrespect cause I enjoy your posts but LSU has been to the tournament 6 times in the last 21 years....my engineer's math says that's exactly 3.5.

So you just stop at 21 to make a point?

Edit: My quick google search may be wrong, but we've been to the tournament 13/15 years before that.

How about this point..history means very little when predicting the future in sports.

The only history that is relevant is the history of LSU basketball under Jones. So far we are 1 for 3 on making the tournament under Johnny. This year is TBD but as of right now we are sitting squarely on the bubble. This guy is a hater and is going to try and paint the picture worse than it really is. He admitted that he has already been banned once for hating on Johnny.

I got that when he said we went to the NCAAT 6 out of past 21 years.

For the record, that is correct, but we have also been 19/36 years. (>50%)

Look Johnny has improved each year he's been here. From taking Trents previos years 18-14 team to 19-12 the next year to a better record and NIT win in his second to making the dance for the first time in years in his third to in his fourth.

People can say what they want and bitch and moan all they want but those are the facts. It's almost like these people are "good we lost, now let me get to the rant as soon as possible to bash whatever". They really lead a miserable exsistance. After the OU lost I just sat in my chair for 10 minutes or so thinking about what could have been. These people, don't get me wrong, enjoy the wins, HOWEVER THEY RELISH IN THE LOSSES SO THEY CAN GO ON A MESSAGE BOARD AND SAY I TOLD YOU SO AND BASH THE COACH. fricking rediculous I tell ya

It's the "deja vu" effect we've seen in several games this year that has folks up in arms. Get a big lead....sit on it....go braindead and get lazy in the end....blow lead....lose! It's a recurring theme.
Couple that with the fact that BS took, what, one shot in the last 9 1/2 minutes or so?

Cursing is one thing...Throwing ice and shite is another... That's just sad that these people are old enough to know better... Pure trash... And NO I won't get over it... Whoever threw ice at the other teams players needs to be kicked out of school forever...
