But everyone wants a championship now. Is he lying?

Also, recruiting wise we need to open the checkbook.

Hey O won a NC in his 3rd year. Kelly would be behind schedule if he doesn’t.

Yes, he’s lies a lot when speaking to the media.

I still don’t see why we can’t win a Natty next year.

Defense will be much better & more experience in the secondary

Ok. So what will the excuse be next year? We are still one year out? Being a team that is always “next year is our year” is infuriating. Hell that basically means we have turned into A&M.

He’s taking the Jimbo Fisher approach. You will hear the same thing from Kelly next year

“Defense will be much better”

I hope you’re right but I’m curious, what makes you say that?

You will have a first year starter at QB next year. While I think Nuss will be a great QB it would’ve been nice for him to go into next year with a year of starts under his belt especially since this year will be a nothing burger anyway.

Specifically more experience in the secondary.

We obviously missed with Alexander & Chestnut in the Portal this year. Those 2 are the “most experienced” guys we have & every other CB we have is Fr/So

Maybe JK Johnson comes back & can contribute, but Harris, Welch, Stamps should all be better with more game experience

Not worried about DL & it will be Perkins best year yet before he’s a top 5 pick in the draft.

Real bonus if Greg Brooks can make a comeback

He’s got the 11th ranked recruiting class at this point so I guess he’s expecting some big signings and/or some really good coaching

The person who knows the team the best said this, yet our fanbase decided this was our year. I was one of those fans with the offense we had. Guess the man knew what defensive product he was putting out there.

This is a simple Jack comparison. Look at the programs each of those guys took over and get back to me.

Just for comparison's sake and I know I'm sure anyone can point to coaches to the contrary but Mike Norvell has been in Florida State this is his fourth year his first year he went 2 and 9 his second year he went 5 and 7 of course had he been here at LSU that means all the hellhounds would be calling to fire him because of 2 losing seasons back-to-back his third year was last yearhe went 9 and 3 his fourth year is this year and looks like they're going to probably be in the playoffs so look I Not that I'm full steam ahead on Brian Kelly's bandwagon but there are things that take a little more time than coming in here and doing a complete roster rebuild and winning a Natty in Football. Hats off to coach Mulkey and Jay Johnson for doing it as soon as they did.
