they had two seconds. We had one second. They nearly got it off but didn't. We never even had a chance to get it off.

Every team should have a set "last play" set in advance so that if they get to that situation...they automatically run a play... To have a chance to win rather than lose spiking the ball.

Was Chip yelling for him to spike it? I didn't see that play, but that was the big thing about JJ. Les was running down the field telling him to clock it with one second left.

In all reality, we were boned anyways. No way JJ could get everything together and get a play run with just a second.

They had 2 seconds. We had 1. 2 should have been enough time. Ref signaled for time before the back judge wqs éven ready.

half the rant want to go 14-0, win bcsnc and fire lm.

this is the rant.

rants are winners who can point out losers.

Meh. Maybe.

They were WAY too lackadaisical getting up to the line. And that cost them.

2 seconds is really really really cutting it close to get a spike off.

What people forget is Les waited 20 seconds to call a timeout after that loss on the 3rd down swing pass.

That's what he should have been crucified for.

Water under the bridge now.

I think a bunch of people on ESPN and other places have all commented on the end of the game and the mistake made. Maybe you just think it's worse than it is when it's about your team.

Wisconsin made the right decision but just didn't execute it quick enough. Lsu made the absolute wrong decision because we only had 1 second left so once it was snapped there was no chance to spike it before that second ran off

Don't worry Jacques Doucet will get to the bottom of it.

shite! Mack Brown got a pass for poor clock management in the Big 12 championship game just weeks after the Ole Miss debacle in 2009.

The thing about having 2 seconds left on the clock is you dont know if there are 2 whole seconds. It could have been that there wwas 1.01 seconds left

and

in the Ole Miss debacle Les said he was saying "hes down" or something to that extent( because the ball came out) and it makes sense because he started doing it immediately after the ole miss guy holds the ball up like he recovered a fumble. Even Jefferson said the signal caller told him to spike it. Miles is not the signal caller. So, i dunno...

By mouthing "Clock it" and motioning your arm in a throwing motion?
