"Well, practice was terrible today. Both QB's looked like warmed over crap. Neither one of them could hit a bull in the arse with a bull fiddle. The receivers are worthless pieces of crap. They catch like they are wearing iron gloves. Did I say catch? I'm sorry, the only thing these idiots could catch is a cold and then only on first bounce. The O Line is having trouble counting to 2.
And don't even get me started on the defense. To call them gutless imbeciles is an insult to the mentally handicapped."

Is that the sort of practice report you want?
Yeah that will build morale and confidence.

Jackasses, all of you.

Was it not determined from snippets of video coming out of the spring practices, plus His poor Spring Game performance, that it was a foregone conclusion that Jennings stunk, and Harris was the only hope this season had?

Please. Just shut up.

No one wants him to say that stupid shite you just typed. But what we don't want, for example, is to say stuff like our OL is the best he has ever seen in football...like he did in 2008.

When has Les ever not talked in foggy details? He always does. Guys are 'improving'. I 'like' this team. This guy 'could' play. He has a 'want' to play. He's 'got a knee'.

Plus, he gives us the BS stats from scrimmages. The guy never talks in absolutes or gives any information.

All you need to know when it comes to Miles is that he claimed JJ had progressed tremendously in the Spring before the 2010 season (his worst).

Then look at prior to this season, where in the spring he claimed Welter had made huge strides in his game to be a great MLB for LSU.

The spring means absolutely nothing when you have our defense and their offense. Of course our offense looked great in the Spring. Look at our defense from this fall and how bad it started out. Add on to that how poorly AJ still looked despite that, and you have your answer.

"We passed for 200, ran for 150, defense had a an interception, but I'm not saying who intercepted the pass." This is the shite we heard all spring and during fall camp.

look, I understand "coach speak" and the need, sometimes, to be vague. But Les says things authoritatively that are lies.

Like "Harris will play." And then he doesn't, when he has perfect opportunities to play. Or, in the past, he would say "Shepard will get more involved in the offense and get 5-7 touches." And he gets zero. (I thought Shepard wasn't a good player - just using this as an example that I remembered).

I've grown tired of the quirky Miles act. I've now moved on to believe the guy is simply a buffoon.

Has Guilbeau realized by now that Miles isn't going to say that certain players were horrible in practice?

There's a wide range of things to say that come between the extremes of making up stats and calling a guy horrible.

Yes. Lol should he come out and say, no matter what I am staying with jennings. He doesn't look good at all in practice. He stares down his receivers . We will run 1wr sets no matter how many guys they have in the box.

Sounds better than this bullshite excuse that Harris doesn't know the playbook. 10 straight scoring drives, now he doesn't know the plays. bullshite

Next closed scrimmage stats:

Jennings 12/19, 146 yds, 2 tds
Harris 8/14, 108 yds, 1 td
Fournette 9 carries, 72 yards
Williams 8 carries, 60 yards

So, yes,

But he won't say that. I would like him more if he did.

I realize none of you like Guilbeau but he was refuting a lot of Miles' practice reports from preseason saying that's not what he heard. GG said both QB's were struggling badly at the same time Les was praising how well they were doing.

I don't know about that stuff but I got to the point that I don't listen to Miles interviews because they are so uninformative. He dribbles words out that don't describe the scenario he is discussing and when answering questions he gives non-answers. I don't care to much about it when we are winning but when you have a debacle like we did Saturday he sounds like he doesn't have a clue what is going on...

They are exactly what they were in the spring game. It really should not be that suprising. What's more suprising is the lack of improvment.

I would rather have BS hype from the Spring than what happened when the the Spring Game was televised and JJ sucked. Remember that? All summer long there was a constant dialog about how bad the passing game was.

Funny that we are still having the exact same conversation now.....

Yes. It is total b.s., which is why Les uses nouns to describe things. e.g. Quality

Yes, almost totally BS.

Hasn't Miles already admitted that he distorts the truth in public statements WRT to his football team?

Yes, he has.
