All last week we were told that they were going to boat race LSU...and now they were over rated and not a good team?

I'm generally confused with some of you right now.

Is your pride so hurt from being wrong you can't find any happiness with the win?

What's it like to live your life worrying about what everyone else thinks and says?

Welcome to a place where people base how they feel about a team solely on their W/L record.

They're not as bad as they looked last night.

We're all enjoying the win just fine. Looks like you're not.

Auburn is the best win we're likely to have all season. It should give the team confidence against the rest of the schedule sans Alabama. I'm excited to see what LSU team shows up in Oxford on Saturday.

Nobody is saying that Auburn is a bad team or that we are. Everyone is giving them credit for this win and more so for Florida now. Even though Florida is not very good.

I do remember some people saying Aranda is overrated. Weren't you one of those people? Is he still overrated and Auburn's offense is just bad? You tell me bud...

Yeah, here it is LINK

When most teams (including Auburn) can't effectively run the ball against you, they will lol bad! Auburn is a good team, possibly a top 15-10 team but they cannot overcome getting their running game stuffed.
This may very well make them a 4 loss team this year, personally I hope they find a way to beat UGA but their D appears to be legit.

Our D is going to get better and better if our Dline stays healthy.

Let's just say they got out coached. They are a very good team with a lot of talent - similar to LSU. Difference in the game was 2nd half adjustments and play calling along w great punt return by Chark. Auburn ran the damn ball on something like 14 straight possessions after they got the lead. They were playing not to lose. Without Chark's heroics they may have indeed won the game despite the conservative play calling. One play changed the game. That's how good of a contest it truly was. Malzan deciding to go for 4th and 10 instead of punting w 3 timeouts left was (as it turned out) MAJOR mistake. Geaux (LSU)Tigers!

Auburn is not as good as they were ranked, but we’re not as bad as most people thought we were either. I think that’s objectively true based on yesterday’s game.

They probably regret calling all those wildcat packages in the second half yesterday. I was surprised they didn't throw it to that lil Wes Welker clone more after half.

I see you have been on the Rant for many years, like myself, so you should realize we must shut out every opponent and score at least 50 points every game to gain the respect of the fan base and even then they will find some plays to bitch about...

Show me where people are complaining? What the hell are ya'll talking about?

If there are people complaining, they shouldn't be. But I have seen nothing but overwhelming positivity.

You're the first and only person I've seen say Auburn is overrated and not a good team. I'm not saying someone hasn't said it but I've haven't seen such a claim in any of the threads I've been in.

They didn't look like a top-10 last night. Didn't play like a top-10 team last night.

Why?

Because LSU decided not to let them. For 45 min of football LSU DECIDED that it would dictate TO THEM just how good the football world would see them.

That's the difference between being beaten, and just sucking.

Hey, maybe they come out the other side of it better for it. Really don't care. All I know is they didn't "learn a lesson"... they were "taught a lesson".
