Way too late in the game at that point.

This is the plan all along. Get out of negative light, quietly look for replacements.

I think miles will get another year to right the ship too much damage has been done to let him go this season. After next year if we get the same results then i think he gone regardless of what ESPN thinks

Seriously, who might we be able to blow out and under what circumstances is this possible?

Not this year. They've already made a mockery of the entire situation.

I want a new coach so that we can regain a viable chance at winning national championships with a college level offense. That has no chance of happening if we blow the opponent out in the bowl game. When was the last time that happened anyway? Miami Peach Bowl?

It absolutely can still happen. If you listen to Alleva's remarks right after the game, he says that he looks forward to working with Les Miles through the bowl game and getting in this recruiting class.

I don't know if that means a change will happen, but he only verbally committed to him through those two events.

Bottom line is that even if you think Les is a high quality coach, it is not a good position for LSU football to be in, and it will affect recruiting of players and position coaches, due to the lame duck situation.

We haven't scored 20 points on a decent team since Oct. 17th

Maybe we blow Penn St. out 17-2

Then that team is severely defensively challenged.

The Rant is absolutely determined to not give a direct answer to that question.
