Good lord. Most head coaches aren't the OC or DC of their team. Being a head coach means interviews, meetings, personnel decisions, weekly radio shows, yada yada yada... not to mention disciplining players, setting a tone and example for the team, managing personalities, and making the final call on tough in-game decisions. The buck stops with the HC. The OC and the DC are tacticians, the head coach is a manager.

Coach O has said one of his downfalls at Ole Miss was having his hands in everything(similar to Miles). He said he's allowing his coaches to do their job this time around.

In his defense. There are plenty of coaches out there that do specialize in offense and defense and help call the plays and are successful.

these coaches aren't hands off coaches.
o publicly stated that he was gonna be hands off.
