Yeah, he's spencer ware's cousin and was running second team left tackle recently. This is weird. A redshirt freshman working in the second unit is transferring. Doesn't scream playing time issue.

What was George Brown's offer list? He should be in awe that he is playing for LSU.

Yea, because offers from Florida, Georgia, Clemson, Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, Michigan State, Penn State, UCLA really suck

Hope for the best for the guy. A lot of the times I'm sure a bunch of these kids get anxious thinking about their future. Seeing other lower class men getting a lot of publicity and playing time. Thinking that if they go to a new place things will change for them. Often times it doesn't but sometimes it does. It's probably hard going from being the guy in high school to just being seen as a back up.

We did have fewer NFL defections than normal, which means that roster spots have to come from somewhere. But we were at 85 before Johnson and Brown left.

New way of life in college football. More and more wanna play early and often. This is why teams like Baylor Houston tcu Utah are competing with big boys in recent years. More and more parity in college football which isn't a bad thing imo. Another reason why as parity spreads NCAA should go to a 8 team format.

What really sucks is that he was one of very few true tackles on roster....

If playing time were truly the issue, why leave after you've already sat a year and guarantee that it will be another year before you can step on the field.

He had a chance for PT here, which is more than he will have anywhere else in D1.

Apparently he may be going to Penn State?

Redshirt freshman, must have expected to start this year for some reason.

This doesn't make any sense. He probably would of started next year and an injury away of playing this year.

He was working with the 2nd team, but he was not going to play much at all. Chris Davenport spent a whole season as our 2nd team LT, but didn't even play when the starter went down.

Plus when you consider Malone and Teuhema as the 1 and 2 at LT, then you really have Brown battling Chidi for the that 3rd spot.
