So for those who don't keep up with recruiting, what is the consensus opinion?

How did we do overall? I'm more into seeing guys do it on the field in purple and gold and not so much into the high schoolers, but generally speaking, are we happy with the class? Anything to bitch about or was it a home run?

It was a loaded class that filled a ton of needs. Bummer we lost Fowler (a linebacker) at the last minute but overall this class is full of studs.

We filled most of the positions of need. Fowler flipping sucked. 9/10 top LA prospects. Exceptional class, but had the potential to be the best.

If Devin White switches to LB, adding to Divinity and the West Monroe kid, and Scott becomes Russell Wilson, this will be the best class EVER for LSU.

Top 5 class. Solid from top to bottom, very pleased but as the guy above said we missed on Fowler and that is a huge let down considering how he played the staff.

Looked like it was gonna be a mammoth home run, wind got a hold of it and it bounced off the top of the wall. Ended up being an easy stand up double.

Seems like instead of having a class filled with 5 A+s and then a bunch of B's and B-'s, this class has only 1 or 2 A+ and a boat load of A-'s to work with.

That is why I don't follow the day to day soap opera that recruiting has become. Just give me the list of who signed at about 6;00pm on signing day and I am good.
And doesn't that kinda defy the word "commitment"?? It really wasn't much of a "commitment" if you don't hold to that commitment...

We had a really great class with one small letdown being the fowler flip. Still really solid and filled a ton of need positions. I love that we are back to filling up both sides of the line and this db class may be one of the best we've had. Got a ton of WR with some serious height...pumped about that. Gonna be pretty thin at linebacker next year so 2017 this and qb will probably be our biggest needs.
All in all, great class. Tied the record for ESPN 300 recruits with 19. AND WE GOT A KICKER who can hopefully put the ball out the back of the endzone

I completely agree. Everyone wants to hold these kids solely accountable. I blame the families as well. Here's his family on stage cheering for him to stay home, yet he's been telling someone for over a year that I would be coming. There are just better ways to handle these situations.

Seems we got everyone in Louisiana that we really went after.
I guess missed on Giles, Taylor, Carter, and maybe Martin, but did we really go hard after those guys?
