Chavis obviously didn't want to be at LSU. The team doesn't need anyone around the program that doesn't want to be there, be it players or coaches. I didn't necessarily want him to leave, but after the fricked up way he left, I am glad he's gone.

How could we. Georgia scored every time they got the ball.

This game had a similar feel to classic USC loss. Such a well-played back-and-forth offensive game that it was hard to be disappointed with the loss. Memories are pretty positive.

My memory was also skewed because I was in the coolest college town in the country when it happened

Chavis was cancer in the coaching staff. Always complained, never recruited, and finally showed his arse to the staff and his players. He was brought in because he was supposed to be a players' coach yet he didn't even tell our guys goodbye.

When Texas A&M comes to BR I hope the student section has a chant for Mr. Chavis.

Well that's quite the stretch to be honest. He did a good job at LSU, just wasn't worth the raise.

IF OBJ doesn't fumble a punt after the D got a stop, LSU "breaks serve" and goes up two scores, likely wins.

Huge turning point in that game, huge!
