Save the senior Poche for a potential elimination game?

Has the starter been announced?

Bats better show up early and often tonight. These dreamers are excellent hitters and Rooker could be a factor.

Question is: had we lost last night would Walker be pitching tonight?

I think you give Poche the start. Strategically, he's been there and has performed well in pressure situations like this in the past. Emotionally, he deserves to shine on the mound in the Box one more time.

There is no reason to "save" anything. Go for the victory, TONIGHT, with the player that has done it before.

tonight with the player that has been in this position before.

The Les Miles thought process...play the upperclassmen even though they may not as good as the underclassmen.

How is that the question?

No matter what had happened last night, Poche would be pitching today.

That's a stupid analogy in this situation and with the players in question.

You're right, we should switch up the rotation that has been so effective during this long winning streak. :sarcasm:

The question is would we pitch Walker game 1 against Florida State? (Given we both win) and have Lange for Oregon State potentially.

I would start Poche tonight, but keep him on a short leash.

I don't know about CLM's thought process, but I would bet a paycheck if you were to poll the player's right now their response would be, pitch Jared. Getting him this win is just a little more incentive for them to play lights out baseball tonight. I can't wait.
