I didn't play as a young buck but it seems alarming to dropping these midweek games to supposedly subpar talent

We've done the same thing in years where we've won championships. No reason to panic. Yet at least lol

Go look at any team from Omaha in the last 20 years and you will find a handful of bad losses every year. It's baseball. It happens.

They lost to McNeese in a championship year. They lost to Lamar and had a great year last year. It's not like it used to be.

Pitching is the greatest difference between teams such as LSU and McNeese State

The remaining position players do not differ that much in skills from a LSU and McNeese State

If the coach decides to sit his better pitchers for a game such as this, then the chances of going away with a loss is greater
