I doubt those numbers. I think capacity over 100,000, but over 101,000 with SRO. But we will see.

. You are more correct in the first part than you are in the second part of your statement- at least for most games- bama will be one notable exception.

i know everyone's situation is different but i shake my head at people who rush to their cars to sit in traffic when they could relax at the tailgate for a little while.

Well, one reason that upper deck may never look empty is LSU is FINALLY shipping all the damn away fans out of the premium lower bowl seats.

The SEC requires home teams to offer some lower bowl seats, typically near the visiting team's bench.

LSU has just finally stopped being overly generous with the lower bowl seating for visitors.

Agreed. People leaving early to beat the traffic hit some of the worst traffic.

I just turn on the post game show, relax, drive, and beat you home by an hour or two.

No one is allowed to leave BugaNation until LF gives them permission.

No, you don't. You leave an hour before me and beat me home by 30 minutes.

Congrats on being out of the parking lot before me, though

"All indications are we will be right at the 100,000 mark, up to about 101,000," Nunez said.

I'm surprised there isn't a definite number. Seems like the plans would show exactly how many seats are going to be in the stadium when all is said and done. Wouldn't that be a natural part of the planning and design process?

Congratulations?

btw...last year I stayed til the final play of the UF game, stopped by the RV to say bye to some people, and was sitting at a slot machine in Lake Charles by 8:30.

I think that is referring to the 800-1,000 SRO being up in the air.

Exactly. Now we'll treat away fans the same we've been treated for years. Put a few hundred next to their band and the other 6,000 up top. It's about time.

It's amazing we are this far along in the addition and there has still been no official number on the new capacity of TS. Everyone keeps throwing out numbers but no concrete number yet.
