13 penalties for 111 yards. That's on Miles

Why not on Cam and Chavis? They get all the credit it seems. Besides half of those penalties were pre snap...that's got to fall on the off coord...

But please don't tell me this one game fixes all that ails this program....ok?

no more than a loss exposes the "ails of the program". It's college football, only in rare instances have programs been able to manage around the inevitable ebb and flow of the game, where players roll in and out every 3-5 years. Unfortunately for the SEC, one of those rare instances is happening right now. And even in that case, to this point, only once has it gone through a season unblemished (on top of having some rare luck go its way).

The A&M game wasn't any more of a statement win than Ole Miss was a statement loss. Both were just college football games.

Was a hell of a gameplan and the players were up to task but, there were plenty of mistakes made that are attributed to being undisciplined.

Is that the way this works?

The way it works is that you need to pay better attention. The post I was responding to questioned players losing respect for Miles. My point was that our three losses had more to do with the lack of player execution than coaching decisions.

So, why would players be losing respect for Miles.

Miles fricks up and so do the players. The only perfect people here are some negative clowns who think they could coach the team better than a nation championship coach.

We play a team with a marquee player and a shitty D, and LSU rises to the occasion. I guess it's too hard to get your team ready for teams like UGA & Ole Miss.

You can pencil LSU in for a loss against Bama from here on out. That's more of a Bama has Nick, than it is a knock on Elmer Fudd err err Les Miles.

Big doubter of the Chief here to say he was great. Players and scheme and execution. Hopefully some of the defensive juniors stay around to reach their full potential.

Miles was solid. Cam Cameron is a boss. And Mett was awesome.
