So, 98.1 launched their streaming today. I wonder if LSU will allow them.....

Talked to a friend of mine about this last night. They absolutely will NOT. There will be music playing while games are going on.

Does your friend work there or something? How do you come to this conclusion?
I don't really understand why they wouldn't stream audio for the games. I grew up with a Longhorn Dad and lived in the Northeast when I was a teenager and we still got to listen to every game that was not on TV. So they have been doing this for years, why can't we.

Geauxzone causes an issue. As does certain regulations regarding NCAA and internet I believe. Along with multi market availabilities and the actual networks that have the rights to Broadcast certain games (ESPN/ABC, CBS, SEC NETWORK)There are a lot of Licensing issues that come into play.

I'm not suprised...they would not even let WWL stream the pregame and postgame.
