Might have to hire a proven college coordinator or pro head coach or pro coordinator. Who out there as a college head coach would be good for us?

There should only be one choice - Napier. Nobody else should even be considered.

WAT?

Several great candidates out there, and we hopefully won't be pigeon holed into whoever the flavor of the month is like Alleva was with Tom Herman.

He’s not the only choice and probably not even the best choice, but he should definitely be considered.

Napier

The amount of people who could do a better job than ed orgeron is anything but thin.

Let it sink in, our last two coaches where absolute buffoons and they won titles. Just imagine what another competent organized coach could do. You could argue we are still riding the momentum that the last real cerebral coach built 20 years ago

As much as some idiots here hate him, Lane Kiffin is a great choice and has gotten his act together enough at Ole Miss. LSU is not "too good" for anyone with baggage.

Still will need to find a good defensive coordinator and after last years search, idk what to think.

Give me the talent we had in 2019 and I’ll win multiple national championships averaging 70 points a game

Well you can try the route similar to Saban and the Dolphins 2 years then wants out of NFL and he falls in Alabama's lap. Maybe Meyer after 2 years will get tired of NFL and want back into College. IF LSU is the best job open in 2022, then maybe you throw everything at him. What other big time job could be open in 2022? USC is potentially the only other one, but they look like they may be pretty good this year and Helton may hang.

Napier is 100% who Woodward will target first. Book it.

I would be calling Kiffin, but I don't think Kiffin fits the mold in what Woodward is looking for. Woodward sounds like a Billy Napier-type guy.

Napier has an elite reputation in coaching circles and lots of people, right or wrong, see him as the next Saban. He turned down USCE and Auburn bc he is content at USL while waiting for a "Top SEC job." It seems like its tee'd up for Woodward.
