Sorry for the a-hole response to your OP. I’m glad you had a good time and I’m sure a bunch of other kids did too.

I went a few times. Had Patrick Coogan as coach my first year. Was a ton of fun at the old box. Have a pic with me and Skip down the first base line bleachers. Got to go swimming at the nat, play stick ball, etc. lot of fun.

Wish I could have experienced the goat camp, instead of that Paul Marinara camp

What year was that? This sounds familiar. I went twice in the mid-late 80s, not sure which years. It was fun. Only time I hit a HR over a fence in a game, and it wasn't even a real field. We were just set up in a fence corner by the old practice fields. Someone stepped on my hand with cleats, that hurt for a few days.
