Skip Balis quote just amazes me.

It's quoted by Skip Balis, "Its a joke LSU is #1. If their still #1 after Saturday (referring to the Bama game) its a joke.". I got it off a video. I've never been a BIG fan of Skip but I think Les should play that quote to the players leading up the Championship. What do you think about this?

i think skip bayless is one step away from being unemployed. he is hanging on and like the rest of us has bills to pay. started stupid shite and roiling the pot is good for his business. believe it or not, there was a time that he was considered some kind of guru.

I'm pretty sure that video was shot earlier in the season after the West Virginia game. He knew the camera was rolling.

It's from a video put on youtube by ESPN.. It's during a meeting/rehearsal of First Take..

This post is so stupid, and misinformed.
He wasn't referencing the Bama game. It was after the WVU game and he was saying that Oklahoma should be #1 because they had beaten Mizzou by 10 points. LSU jumped him, and Skip said it was a joke that LSU was #1 over OU.
Being that Skip is an OU guy, of course he feels that way, and under the circumstances he had an argument at the time.
Skip has said some insanely stupid stuff while effectively trolling the sports community at large, but this isn't one of them. Sorry.
