So no one else is allowed to discuss things in the past because it bothers you, but you were the one in here bragging about "ruffling feathers".

Nice.

Create a special board that only allows positive talk about everything, and bans anyone who does not abide by the rules. Hell, start a whole new site for it. That should go well.

It is done. Move on.

did you see lsu2006's response?

quote:

You see, this an LSU sports message board. On such sites, fans of a given team discuss relevant issues and topics regarding that team. One such issue and/or topic that is relevant to LSU football is its first year head coach with a highly checkered past who was hired under the guise of not having to rebuild from scratch. He then promptly lost his first SEC game by 30 less than a week ago. Now, if you don't want to discuss said hire and how you believe it will pan out, you're free to spend your time doing other things. Nothing that is said by me, you or anyone else on here changes anything. It is merely a site for discussion.

Did that clear things up for you?

does that clear it up for you?

Orgeron being chosen over more qualified options, and the results of that decision to date, should bother any LSU fan that can walk and chew gum at the same time.

To the point of obsessing over it and weeping and wailing multiple times a day?

Seriously is that healthy behavior?

Your guy didn't win. Get over it.

When you think about it there is no iron clad guarantee that your guy would have had a different outcome is there? Speculation, yes. Guarantee no.

Gray,

You wouldn't get near as much shite if you every once in awhile said something positive about LSU instead of just attacked those that don't.

And people express concerns because that's what you do here. If no one had anything to complain about, this site would not exist. Get over yourself and realize people have opinions and like to share them whether you like it or not.

A team can tilt the odds in their favor by getting a better coach.

When you are starting TWO freshmen on the OL and you have played 20 freshmen in the 1st 3 games of the season, it is a pretty good indication of a rebuilding situation.

and, to borrow your question, does that change anything? Why not just move on?

It's infinitely more healthy than obsessing, weeping and wailing multiple times a day over what other random people are posting on a message board.

I have been most positive. I have pointed out on numerous occasions how much I respect and admire the men and women who coach, play or administer ALL athletic programs.

I am an unabashed LSU "homer". I freely admit that.

And if something doesn't go my way, I suck it up and move on. If my candidate for a coaching position doesn't get it, too bad for him. I suck it up and move on. If one of my favorite athletes doesn't play as much as I think I would like, too bad. I suck it up and move on.

So it is ok for you to do it and not me?

How so?

It is ok for you to criticize, but not me?

How so?

Yet, when someone posts something you don't like you obsess over it for pages at a time.

Maybe you should "suck it up and move on".

Interesting point.

BTW exactly how many anti-Orgeron posts or replies do you have in your list? I just want to know what you consider the "move on" point to be.

We played 20 by choice not by necessity. How many played on Saturday as part of the normal rotation? That's the number you should focus on.

Probably a shite load, but I'm not the one in here telling people to "move on", am I? I'm here specifically to discuss issues, not to move on from them.

I'm just wondering why you can put your big boy pants on and move on so easily from so many important issues, but continue to obsess over what other people posting on a message board think and say.

For the few of you that have actually had sex (with another person) this feels like when you wake up the next day and "WTF" moment. Best to get out as quick as possible.

I'm sure you would be first in line for this wouldn't you.

Seriously you don't see the hypocrisy in your statement?
