Yeah LFs 2015 record for 7 straight games of 150 yards rushing (could have been 8 if McNeese was played) was pretty damn impressive imo

O gets credit for the direction they are headed in right now for sure. But why in the f&ck did he have to meddle with the offense in the Troy game ? If one of the losses can be pinned on him it's the Troy loss without a doubt.

We had an obscene amount of penalties the games prior to Troy. He wanted to cut down on the number of penalties. He failed miserably in that decision.

I know it's no record, but I think Etling may have the highest qb rating since Met. I know that isn't saying much other than Canada is doing a great job and was CEO's signature hire.

LOL, the apologist for these guys is hilarious. It has to be an organized campaign.

I tell you what, I liked Les Miles, thought it was a mistake to fire him and think O is a good person, just a bad hire. If he fields a team that can truly compete with Bama and beat Bama, then I will be a convert. I will take a Bama win and a Troy loss all day long. Beat Bama and compete for the SEC like Miles, then I buy in. Until then, I am bearish on his chances given his history. And all those knucklheads saying he is so great, press the damn breaks.

I pretty much agree with all of that. And if this record breaking thing had only happened once or even twice, I would have just thought it was more of a coincidental kind of thing. But this is the fourth time in 16 games with O as coach that some kind of all-time offensive record has been broken.

Everyone bitched the whole time Les was coach that we weren't doing enough offensively. Now, we're doing more offensively, and now people are bitching because we lost to Troy, even though we won three SEC games in a row.

Granted, the Troy loss was real real bad. If this was one of the better Troy teams, I wouldn't be quite as upset, but this isn't even one of Troy's best teams. I was ready to fire his arse right after the game, especially after the debacle up in Starkville.

All I'm saying is Coach O has my attention now. All he has to do in two weeks is show that he can compete with the Evil Empire. We don't have to win, but we do have to field an offense. I actually think people would be ecstatic if we lost 45-31 because the last time we scored 31 points against Bama was in Saban's first year.

Agreed, at the time that loss still felt like a beat down. The late run made it look closer that it was for sure.

That said, the game was 34-16 with over 12 minutes in the 4th, before Mullen pulled the starters and we got the two late TDs.

That’s 18 points. Pretty far off from what we saw a few weeks ago, and that was about as bad as it got under Miles for sure

Miles lost to Bama 5 Times in a Row and got skunked on national TV and put up a goosegg in the National championship game. Miles did not “beat Bama” regularly. Miles also lost damn near every high 5*in state recruit to Saban not named Leonard
Fournette.

You setting these Incredibly unrealistic expectations for a first year coach playing a bunch of freshman and sophomores against a bunch of five stars that Saban recruited away from us under the Miles regime is laughable .

Now you’re just making crap up. Miles lost exactly 2 5*s from Louisiana to Alabama since 2012 according to 24/7. Miles got 6 of 10. 1 went to Florida and 1 to aTm.

Can we just move on please?

It's over and done with. I was just as vocal as everyone else about canning O after that. Can't change the past - only learn from it. LSU got caught with their pants down.

Let's look at the next game in front of this team.
