In his first game as interim, LSU set the single game yardage record against an SEC opponent against Missouri. Then, Leonard set the single game rushing record against Ole Miss. Then, Derrius set the single game rushing record against A&M. Now, Derrius has set the record for most 250+ yard games (it should be noted that all of three of those games have been under O).

ETA: forgot to mention Darrell going 100/100 for the first time in school history

I like the trend.

That's a shiny hook and some nice smelling bait you've got there.

Ever heard the expression about breaking some eggs...

Yes, that sucked, but maybe we don't win the last three without the kick in the arse provided by that horrific loss.

I don't even know if I'm an O fan yet, but I do like this trend.

We broke records under Cam as well. What's your point?

Worst loss in the 120 year history of the Mississippi State series.

He took one on the chin and got up and rebounded when the pressure was massive. I like that. He is making the right decisions since troy. He faaaked up vs troy. It's on him on why we aren't 6-1. But I'm starting to believe in O again. A lot of games left but if he can finish strong he will have a lot of momentum going into signing day. The offense is starting to get more confidence and comfortable with Canada scheme. 4th quarter D has been awesome. Etling even looking more confident with some throws over the middle. I like if we can keep games close for 3q. The D rises up and Etling finds a way to make plays. This team is starting to look like a well coached team. Shhhh don't tell the rant.

You see the 'rushing' trend? That won't help us in our next game.

What a defeatist attitude. I see why winners in life are such a minority when I come to this website.

We beat Top 10 Auburn btw.

O gets credit for the direction they are headed in right now for sure. But why in the f&ck did he have to meddle with the offense in the Troy game ? If one of the losses can be pinned on him it's the Troy loss without a doubt.

At this pace, we might set the record for fewest receptions by LSU WRs in a single season too.

Will someone please provide solid evidence of this? Did he say he meddled?

Florida and Ole Miss will be lucky to win 6 games this year.

If we need two historic losses to get it together enough to beat them then the golden age truly is behind us.

But hey, at least we can run the ball against teams that can’t stop the run!! I used to hate not being able to do that!

Am I the only one more concerned about sustaining the success of this program?

I always thought O would be fine no matter what his first year or two due to a lot of talented players

My prediction would be he would do fine his first couple seasons then we would see a little drop off his third season.

I don't think O will ever be "losing season bad" I am just not sure if we will push that next level eventually
