He probably already is. I am pretty sure that JR is just about broke by now.

JR made a good 30 mil at Oakland. How could he be broke? He's not Mike Tyson.

When will you people realize that Flynn was an avg qb AT LSU? He had some very bad games in 07. 4 int vs Bama. Hell JJ in 09 had a higher qb rating than Flynn in 07. Flynn was not a better COLLEGE QB THAN JR. hence the number one overall pick and a 7th rounder.

Would you compare Flynn's BCS Championship game vs JJ's?
Now compare it with JR's
How much game experience did JJ and JR have as a starter and how many did Flynn start?

Maybe JJ will be the next success story in the NFL. Hopefully he will be a late round pick.

What does any of that have to do with posters saying," Flynn was the better qb between him and JR"? Tell me. Flynn was a 5th year senior and JJ was a true sophomore ad JJ put up a better qb rating for the season. JJ has sucked his entire career here right,or that's what most posters think. I was just responding to the poster who said Flynn was better than JR.

mr and mrs flynn must be very proud.

if either of our two qb's this season possessed, in full, the same attributes that define Matt....we would all be sleeping like babies every freakn' nite. when we had JR and Matt, no matter the situation, I always felt that we had a chance.

I hope Matt Flynn sets the NFL on fire. While often overlooked and under appreciated at LSU, the truth is that he's a great talent and team leader.
