LSU and Colorado have the best mascots without a doubt...
followed by Georgia, Auburn and any other schools that have LIVE mascots.
Best non-realistic mascot is BIG RED by Western Kentucky. Hilarious!

Tigers have been my favorite animal ever since I was little(wolf, alligator, and then shark follow behind. So hell yeah I think a live tiger beats the hell out off every other mascot except for the FSU one(love that one).

Should be #2 behind the Chief. What's so special about a bulldog? There are about 15 colleges with live bulldogs for mascots. UGA's is probably in the worst of shape, too. Only going to live about 3 more years probably.

Yes.
All you have to do is bring friends from out of town, or listen to visiting fans form other programs talk when they walk up to the thing and see Mike in there. It's practically absurd that LSU even has such a thing. Comparing it to a dog anyone could own, and a horse with a guy riding it seems silly. The only ones even comparable would be BEVO (again, it's a fricking cow) and the Buffalo from Colorado.
That being said, who really gives a frick what SI has to say about it?

I don't understand being upset about 3rd in a ranking like this.
I can't argue one way or the other about the seminole, that shite is cool.

I liked when Uga lunged at that Auburn player, and I think he deserves top 10 even though there are lots of bulldogs. I'd put Ralphie ahead of Bevo, and I like the Sooner schooner higher than 15. I saw the Osceola entrance at a big Miami-FSU game and that was electric.
