"I know I wrote last week that LSU should win a few SEC games before it deserved a ranking, but in looking at the teams outside the Top 25, I couldn't think of one the Tigers wouldn't be favored against. This team has top 10 talent, but it still must translate that talent into points and tackles. That's the maddening thing about LSU. I can envision the Tigers whipping Mississippi State this week, but I can just as easily envision the Bulldogs leaving Tiger Stadium with a win. LSU will have to erase that nagging suspicion before it rises to a place in the poll more commensurate with the talent on the roster."

They have transferred the talent to tackles. We just need to worry about points.

Still hard to disagree with that. Here's the link for those that care about such things:

1) they didnt have money on the 38-3 game. LSU shut GT down.

2) they dont have money on GT.

talk is cheap. Look at Sagarin. He has LSU #5. GT is not in the top 30.

GT being ahead of us is a joke. They lost to Kansas who lost to that powerhouse NDSU the week before.

Sagarin's poll is a fricking joke. Don't bring it up now because it favors LSU.

All LSU has to do is win, that is all that matters. They do not rank losses they rank wins and how you get them will not make any difference if you are the only undefeated team left.

Now it would be nice to score extra points and score 30, 40 or even 50 points but defense wins Championships and that is one thing we have is a defense! Offense puts fans in the seats and keeps them there but a defense will allow that offense the luxury of not having to score all those points, just by what you saw last weekend in Vandy. That is called "DOMINATION"!

I SAY! 30-3!

I SAY!

Thats not true at all. Alot of your post season dep[ends on who you lose to and when you lose to them. Unless of course, you go undefeated.

F$%@ Staples... He's holding LSU to a standard others aren't having to live up. Not having LSU in the top 20 is BS even with our issues.

Sagarin's poll is a computer ranking. Not a human poll.
