SI NFL DRAFT 1ST ROUND

26th Jalen Collins (Baltimore Ravens)

quote:

I wouldn’t rule out a receiver or a running back in the first round, but the way the Ravens went through cornerbacks at a near-record rate last season, giving the secondary the first-round love seems the most logical move two months-plus out from the draft.

29th La'el Collins (Indianapolis Colts)

quote:

The Colts have to shore up their offensive line issues and keep Andrew Luck cleaner than they’ve been able to in the quarterback’s first three difference-making NFL seasons. Collins has the versatility and the pedigree to handle an early starting role.

Would love to see the Saints take LC but it's understandable if they go for defense there.

I think they go defense. But jeez do they need help on the offensive line. Brees had no time last year!

Tackles are safe picks and I think La'el Collins goes in the top ten. Some team is gonna be impressed and go get him. I still think he is the #1 offensive lineman. Redskins, Jets, or Giants.

Saints will probably trade back to the mid-20s. I imagine the players on their board will be gone by 13, so trade back and get someone for cheaper. Anyway. Glad both Collins are doing well. Great Tigers.

Would love to see the Saints take La'el Collins. I think we're losing one of the Guards this offseason. Collins could be a great replacement at Guard and he could move out to Tackle if needed.
