Gotcha. Sorry i missed it. I have seen Orko one time in one of the OT threads. It had been awhile. I got it now. Yeah i was about to say though if you had a tat, it would be hard to find a job around MS with a LSU tatt.

Any tat for that matter at the hospital. Where do you live in MS? I'm stuck here in Jackson.

St Dominic
ETA: I actually live on the reservoir. Jackson is what I say for people who aren't familiar with the area.

Been here for quite a while. Early 80's. Graduated from NWR. You?
Posted on 7/15/08 at 8:35 pm to tooshea8
Lived here my whole life. Except my 3 years in Baton Rouge. Graduated from Pearl High in '99. My little brother was a NWR Cougar though. He graduated in '05.

I graduated from NWR in 98. You play any sports in highschool?
Posted on 7/15/08 at 8:40 pm to tooshea8
Naah. Band geek here man. i hung out with alot of the FB players though. I graduated with Justin Jenkins. You may remember him. Played QB for Pearl then went to MS State and played WR.
Man, that was when pearl was actually good at FB. How have times changed. Now NWR is good. My brother played OL for them.

Name sounds familiar. I played soccer and ran track, though.

No. By the grace of God.
In all seriousness, my whole family lives in New Iberia, LA. I was born and raised a Tiger fan. I've been going to games since 84. You?

Dad's from Shreveport. Raised an LSU fan. I'm from here. Went to LSU after Hinds. Now, i'm in grad school at Belhaven. Where did you go to school?

Initially went to Ole Piss (insert joke here). Went through 2 years of pharmacy school and changed to nursing. Graduated from Hinds nursing school. I'm applying for the bridge program for my masters in Jan.
Posted on 7/15/08 at 8:52 pm to tooshea8
What exactly is the bridge program? Does it bridge what you did at Hinds through a master level nursing courses at UMC? Or am i way off?
Posted on 7/15/08 at 8:53 pm to Barry Badrinath
You are spot on. It is basically a 2 year program from my degree to my masters as a nurse practitioner.
Posted on 7/15/08 at 8:55 pm to tooshea8
Awesome. I hope it works out for you. I assume you are doing this at UMC? That's going to be tough. When will you start?
Posted on 7/15/08 at 8:57 pm to Barry Badrinath
I'm applying to USM and UMC. USM has what is essentially an online program. You only have to go to Hattiesburg once every 3 weekends or so. What are you getting your masters in?
ETA: start next june
