If they r benching him because of one fumble, that is just plain fricking stupid.

No, "Plain friggin stupid" is you commenting on who the coaches should play. You know less than 1% of what the coaches know about this. Maybe he came off the field and said, "I'll fumble whenever I want to fumble." Maybe his favorite auntie died five minutes before game time. Anything like these could affect the coaches decision, and you don't know anything about anything.

He's had way more than 20 carries, get real man. Oh wow, he had 2 fumbles, just boot him off the team. I hope they r working with him at practice and giving him confidence. We will need him at some point.

You don't progress sitting on the bench ! Do you or any of you remember D.J.Chark Jr. sitting on the bench for 2 years behind Diarse and the kid from Barbe. The first time he got into a game was the bowl game against Texas Tech and the first time he touched the ball he went 80 something yards untouched. The rest is history ! Chark could have fallen thru the cracks like blue and Brossette is doing. Give the guy some meaningful PT.

Players that don’t get meaningful snaps are just not better than the guys in front of them. Plain and simple. You think every player that sits the bench should play?. Coaches see things in practice that for the most part determine whose is or isn’t going to see the field. Brosette is too slow physically and too slow reading the hole to hit. That’s a recipe for disaster in a fast paced league especially one full of pro talent

He looked solid as a freshman and had a major injury. Ppl being way too tough on him. Took Alfred blue two years to fully get back to where he was. Chubb is just now getting back to where he was. So last year he was still timid on his cuts and didn't get chances to overcome that mental issue trusting his knee because we had LF. This year he looks back to his full strength and watch him on the 3rd down run at UF to ice the game. He exploded out the box. Vs troy he shot out like a cannon but the defender out a helmet on the ball. He should've went low but stayed upright like someone mentioned that he does sometimes. At the end of the day now that he's back to 100% he hasn't had many opportunities. When they come he will suprise. I'm certain of it if he hold onto the ball better. Not fair to write him off yet

I'm similarly surprised that CEH hasn't seen more work, given how much we heard this summer and how dinged both primary backs have been.

Didn't he make the big first down against Syracuse late in the game. Seems like he didn't get a carry all game and then was put in on a fourth down run and broke a tackle for the first. It seemed strange he was put in that position.

I thought I recall people saying Ridley wasn't good enough, then I think we were down two rbs and he had to play. Played well.

Brossette is having a career like Alfred Blue did. Sit around for 4 years getting a handful of carries as a reliable spell back.

You have a short memory. Brossette couldn't carry Blue's jock, even at this point in their careers.

Brossette's pad level is so damn high when he runs. It's like he has a rod in his back. If he could just fix that, it would expose him to less big hits, and thus less fumbles.

I seem to recall running back drills in preseason where he was admonished more than once regarding his pad level AND his effort. Nicholas should be doing more work on his time so he can earn some work on our time. If he wants to play that is.

A repaired ACL takes 2 years (at least for a skill player) to get back to 100%. Straight from the mouth of Brent Bankston, the one that is doing most of those repairs. Idk how anyone can say he hasn't progressed, he's barely seen the field. Not exactly a chump just bc he sat behind LF and Guice. DW never showed much before this season, bc he was behind other extremely talented backs and there's only so many carries when the offense is either three and out or scoring in a play or two.

I think he's in the doghouse now, due to said fumble.

Thank God that Chark wasn't put in that doghouse after his fumble against Auburn. Otherwise LSU probably never would've come back and win that game. Chark was a big contributor to the come back.

Yes! Let him redeem himself. Busting one for a long gain (TD would be betta) would go a long way towards soothing ruffled feathers over that Troy disaster. Come on OL help the guy out.
