It is well known and well discussed that LSU likely should have offered Prescott sooner in his high school career and as a QB. I think it goes without saying he is currently a better QB than LSU has on the roster and would start at LSU this year (as he would have last year too).

If Prescott had come to LSU, how much of a difference would it have made for last year's 8-5 team, and what difference would it make for this years team in your opinion?

That damn les miles trying to go out and sign the #1 pro style qb in the country, and he even did before his chest went missing.

Fans bitch when Les doesn't sign pro style qb's and bitch when he doesn't sign spread qb's

Well we would have beat MSU that's for sure. Otherwise I am not sure he would have succeeded in a different offense

We'd most likely win in the close losses. People need to remember though that Dak was not too long ago a terrible passer. Looked better when his weapons matured. Josh Robinson is no longer walking through that door. Jameon Lewis is no longer walking through that door. Is De'runnya Wilson dominant enough for Dak to stare down on and still succeed? Will State rely on a young RB? Big questions to answer.

By who? He was a 3* "duel threat" who couldn't throw until very late in HS. That's why MS state was his only decent offer besides LSU's last minute pitch. Hell, his arm still isn't all that great. He's turned out well in Mullen's system, but at LSU he would have been Jordan Jefferson part two.

I like Dak, but he doesn't fit what we really do at all.

This. He's a great fit for Mullen and Miss St and has excelled in that type of system.

Jennings was statistically the second worst QB in the entire nation last year. What exactly do "we do" that he would not have benefited us?

He can run...Miles likes a mobile QB.

He can pass...Miles likes to pass down field on occasion.

the only thing it would have changed was last year's loss to MSU, because he'd have been sitting somewhere on our bench
