Should we be concerned about Duplantis?

Hit .234 in the fall. 2 for 15 in the spring. Starts season 0-12. Temporary slump or we looking at a big drop off in his offensive production? Hope he can shake it off and get back to form.

Otherwise great weekend for the Tigers.

Luckily the rest of the lineup looks like it will be productive giving toine some time to bust the slump.

Every year someone starts slow. Give it time.

He will be fine.

I'm concerned about his arm. And how that has affected him mentally at the plate.

the ole sophomore slump.yes, he looks tentative at the plate. it happens to ALL hitters. he just has to battle it out. it is a mental thing.

Rants reaction: "yeah whatever but what about this one little bitty bad part that no one who knows anything is concerned about and didn't effect anything?!?! What is going on!?!! We have to look into this, no time to celebrate how great the team did!!!!"

Go suck start a shotgun so we don't have spend time reading your bullshite all season

PM has said as much multiple times this spring about the end of last season, summer, the fall and this spring.
He had decent contact at several ABs today, but making the last out 2 or 3 times today with people on is going to buy him a VERY short leash.

Jesus Christ, calm down. This isn't just a this weekend thing. He didn't hit well in the fall or preseason. I have faith he can get on track, but something does seem off as of right now.

So who would you suggest to take his place in CF with no drop off in defense and improvement on offense?

Ive heard this slump has been going on for a while now.. in practices/scrimmages he couldnt even put balls in play to get runs home. Hope he can snap out of it soon

I pose a question to get people's opinion which is pretty much what message boards are meant for. Yet you react by telling me to suck a shotgun and somehow I am the one that's reactionary

This is the approach you have to take when you're in a slump......looking at it as a whole will screw with your head. One at bat at a time, then game, then series.......

He'll be fine!
