PM has said as much multiple times this spring about the end of last season, summer, the fall and this spring.
He had decent contact at several ABs today, but making the last out 2 or 3 times today with people on is going to buy him a VERY short leash.

A short leash at the top of the lineup.....maybe. He WILL be fine!

Yes to all of the above...
Not sure if his knee or shoulder is causing the uplift swing he has adopted...

Lmao you know NOTHING ABOUT COACHING. It's exactly what the Astros did to Bregman before dropping him by putting him behind a good hitter and in front of the most consistent hitter.

What are you spewing? Tiger1988

You said "he's on a short leash"...... I said at the top of the lineup, maybe. Meaning, he will most likely move to the bottom if he continues to slump. He will not be removed from the lineup, as you where insinuating. Atleast that's how I read it. Get off your high horse, COACH!!!

It pains me, but Ell is correct. Heard it from multiple players this weekend. Antoine has an injured left elbow, it's been injured for some 6 months now. Hitting .200 in the fall, 1-14 in the spring, and now starting 0-12 I would say there is cause for concern. Maybe not go fully nuclear, but he hasn't hit well since April. I would switch he and josh smith in the order and see if some pressure would be lifted.

He's trying to do that still. That's not the problem. He's forcing it. 0-12. No walks. One K. So 11 balls in play but nothing really threatening other than a couple hard grounders.

I like the idea of switching him and Smith. But I really am worried about his arm. He literally rolled one back into the cutoff guy today. Surprised more people haven't noticed an issue.

He asked if there should be concerned. Didn't jump to conclusions. Give him a break

SlUmp
Here diumbass.
But when asked about any worries of Duplantis falling into the proverbial “sophomore slump” in 2017, Mainieri was quick to remind: Duplantis wasn’t immune to failures at the plate last season. In fact, the second half of his season — still statistically well above average, especially for a freshman — wasn’t as consistent as the first.

most on here were little chewees when Grace said that. I remember listening to it live on Rome. They don't know what a slump buster is.

Might be trying too hard to hit the ball on the ground. Is he swinging down or being taught to swing down? That's a death move. He struggled in the Cape this summer as well. Would be curious to see his swing from the side.

Don't say that or state facts or links to facts or you might get called anti-LSU.
