Guilbeau mentions his reputation is not the greatest and could hurt coaching search. I wouldn't lose any sleep over dismissal of JA.

He's a mouthpiece for the money behind our Athletic Department, he had no say in firing Miles and he'll have no say in hiring his replacement

How the man was ever hired after the Duke LAX ordeal is mind-blowing.

Absolutely he was the one that got LSU to sign that buyout plan for Miles a few years back. I would prefer the higher of our next HC done by a new AD!

I don't think the criticism is fair. He tried doing the right thing and firing Miles at the end of last season. He go fricked when F king stepped in at the last minute and hung him out to dry.

If we start firing admins, they need to start at the top. Alexander's head needs to roll first. He is ultimately the reason we had to do a mid-season firing.

YES. He would rather fire a guy like miles than STAND UP FOR HIS TEAM and call out the SEC office for all of the BS on the plains.

So he is like every other AD at a big time school.

F. King needs to go for other reasons, but firing the university president because the football coach is underperforming is a bit much.

Seems like it would be doing things backwards. Should have canned him right before or along with Miles.

Now looks like he'll be at least the figurehead in the search for a new coach.

It goes much further than that. I've heard multiple stories about how much he is disliked in the athletic department

He has handled the Miles thing a little better than the Duke Lacrosse thing when he was there

Him interfering with Miles' firing in Nov is just one of MANY reasons why he needs to go.

And that's why he's a good AD.
