Please God, let this happen! Alleva is a visionary in the same sense that the guy who invented the Sony Beta Max format was a visionary. He did hire a good B-Ball coach though...so there is that.

Good comparisons and valid point . With that said , LSU better pay the man on the level of those coaches to ensure his value is appreciated appropriately.
Pay the man and lock him up. I want his name mentioned with those elites , even if only for salary purposes.

Maybe those genius ADs at the colleges that have openings, wanting or needing to get rid of their previous great coaching choices, don't recognize at great option when they see one. OK, we'll keep our idiot coach who has beaten Malzahn, Beleima, Sumlin, and McElwain. They can make their next great pick from all the great choices that are out there. Only time will tell if they have chosen wisely or not. Odds are against them, but we shall see.
