He does. He plays heading towards the north endzone and south endzone each half.

I know. It just sucks when possibly the best linebacker on your team is also likely the best running back in the country. And to everyone else, I know this idea would never fly, but Wishful thinking is fun ( thats alot of what the rant is about).

If LF7 playing defense isn't the best guarantee for securing the Heisman, I must ask the genuises of the rant, what is the best solution?
Develop a semblance of a passing game so that linebackers and safeties can't crowd the box and limit running room for Fournette. The more balanced we become, the better chance for Fournette to have the success and highlight-reel runs needed to garner Heisman attention.

Additionally, LSU needs to be in contention for playoffs or at least a BCS bowl (or whatever the high-level, non-playoff bowl games are called these days). You don't win a Heisman on a shite team. LSU needs to contend.

I would be cool with LF7 playing QB part time instead of playing MLB. However, I believe that the transition to MLB would be easier than trying to read defenses as a QB.

He ain't helping his Hiesman case by sitting on the bench when he could be on the field with the D. Do you want the first Heisman back in the boot since 1959 or not?

I really hope you're just trolling. This is a 5-star restaurant menu of idiot.

I'm talking about the Heisman Trophy here, not the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.

You want to put our star, once in a generation talent running back in the biggest meat grinder position in sports?

You're right. QB might be too much pressure for him. I'll stick to my original idea of MLB.
