I want LSU to win games, individual awards are fine but not a priority.

I refuse to believe people are serious with this crap.

Whether this is trolling or monumental stupidity, the Rant once again reveals itself to be a killing field of intellectual discourse.

I do too, 2015 just ain't the year. Therefore, the goals should be different. Heisman in 2015 equates to more wins in the future.

I actually think he'd be a better NFL linebacker than running back. His high school video at linebacker is scary good.

That post just cleared up any doubt I had about you being mentally slow. First off, the coaches are NOT trying to kill him. Les cares about his players and that's why you never see any backs get more than 20-25 carries a game with FEW exceptions. He is a special back which means he has a bright future.. So why risk him having a career ending injury because of trying him on defense to win a heisman?

"8 wins a season or a heisman?"
That's just extremely selfish and I think it's time to click the red x on the top right and click that middle button on your computer tower.

2012 Johnny Manziel - A&M class went from #21 to #6 in just a few weeks.

2013 Jameis Winston - FSU class jumped from #16 to #3 in the same time frame.

Kids want to play with a Heisman winner and if he's still on campus it gives them the opportunity to do just that.

If LF7 playing defense isn't the best guarantee for securing the Heisman, I must ask the genuises of the rant, what is the best solution?

There is no guarantee for securing the Heisman. He more than likely won't win the Heisman. Stop the pipe dreaming.

Defensive players play offense to increase their Heisman odds. Not vice versa.

What if his player had the want to win the Heisman and the ability to do so?

Do you prevent him from accomplishing his goals? Do you increase his carries to 30+ a game? Or do you help the team by keeping his carries around 15 a game and letting him play defense as well? I think the latter helps the team by adding depth to MLB and helps recruiting for 2016.

Playing him on defense would most likely prevent him from accomplishing his goals. Please stop.

That's what makes it even better! He'd be the first to ever do such a selfless thing by helping add depth to MLB. ESPN would take that and run with it. Heisman would be guaranteed.
