JJ was not the only player to see the field too late or not enough (IMO).

Ryan Baker
Drake Nevis
Chancey Aghayere
Stefoin Francois
John Williams (KR instead of KW)
Karnell Hatcher

Should have all got thier chance because of poor play at thier positions. I think Miles gives too many chances to players with bad performances.
Im not saying these guys would have done better but they deserve a shot.

I really like Ryan Baker. The kid can hit. The way you get on the field is to play well when you get an opportunity and Baker is on his way to proving that. I believe he is a freshman or sophomore so he can only improve. I could be wrong on his age so don't quote me on that.

why? What makes you think he would have been great? Not saying you're wrong. Just want to know why you think he should have played more. Did he play at all?

I actually wish Baker, Hatcher and Derrick Bryant had been shirted.

Francois is MIA, as is that young OLB, I forget his name all the time.

While I agree, most of his "highlights" were flying down the field making tackles in open space. Just eyeballing him, I kind of wonder how successful he would've been (at this point) shedding blocks & filling gaps to make tackles.

I could be wrong, but didn't Chancey arrive with a lingering injury? Could've sworn I read that somewhere.

No , but his numbers were just as good as Holliday.

Holliday - 27 returns, 22.6 average
Williams - 13 returns, 22.3 average

I agree... Les Miles's failure to take action to correct obvious problems reminds me of Jim Mora. He should have given these guys the opportunity to prove themselves on the field.

DRAKE NEVIS. every time the kid has seen the field he's played very well. the way his first two years have been handled pisses me off.
