If he catches a guy right he could block that guy into the punter for a punt block.

I think the way that the blockers are staggered With the punt shield, he wouldn’t have the angle unless they were out of position.

If he goes to the punter rather than the guy the guy would move over and he might block him into the punt.

He went right at the punter in that video against Georgia. But the punter angled away.

I get why LSU is doing this (other than it is freaking awesome). LSU just said well if you are going to allow our guys a full head of steam to better cover a punt then we are going to punish your punt protectors. I guarantee that OL stumbled back to the sidelines and went right to the coach and told him to put someone in front of 72 next time.
