while watching LSU sporting events

Here's mine:

My dad is a Miss. State fan having grew up near the university as a child. He gets so pissed when MSU loses to LSU in anything. It messes his entire day up. He's been walking around pissed after MSU vs LSU sporting events my entire life and I'm 34 years old now.

it was 1997....My dad gave away his tix to the LSU/UF game for some reason....had to watch somebodies kids.

So it was Him, this someones kids, me, and my best friend watching the game

LSU pulls off the upset, my dad is wasted and statrs jumping up and down screaming "I SHOULDV'VE BEEN THERE"..the he ran to the garage to find spray paint so he could spray paint LSU on the side of our house but the can was empty so he decided to jump into the golf course pond behind our house and for some reason my best friend followed. I was about 11 or so at the time i guess

*Interesting tidbit - the kid that jumped into the pond in celebration with my father was future Kentucky player Dicky Lyons Jr

My dad is the biggest negatiger I know. He was like yelling during the WVU game. The WVU GAME!. I don't like watching games with him too much.

Now my FRIEND'S dad said that he's been watching LSU games since 1971 and he said he's never seen an LSU team like this.

Both parents are capital (R) Rantards who worship the ground that Saban walks on. They've always been skeptical of Miles, but have let up since last year.

My brother is an OU Alum, and they love watching Saban coached Bama games, so their loyalties have seemed a bit divided since about 2004.

They love Les when we win (and comment about how he may be "decent"), but hate the whole coaching staff when we lose. They always love the players.

The also like OU, but will choose an LSU game every time. They think (know) that big game Bob is THE premier choke artest in CFB history.

They also watch most Bama games (again, they'd never do so over LSU).

Last week, dad complained about the game, JJ not getting enough time, JLee looking poor in the 1Q, and, of course, the Saints melting down. They love Brees and Payton, but will quit on the Saints at the first sign of trouble.

My dad barked at a UGA fan after the 2003 SECCG game in the elevator at the Marriott Marquis. The guys wife and son were terrified. The day earlier the guy barked at us when we were checking in and proceeded to tell us how we got lucky in the beginning of the year and that David Pollack would make Justin Vincent his bitch. The guy took it in stride though, but my old man was relentless.

My dad also threw up the "U" hand signal they do at Miami to a bunch of Miami fans in our section at the 2005 Peach Bowl. The last game we attended together before he passed away in August of 2006.

Best Memory Ever was in 94 for the opener. I was a teenager and it was my first ever LSU game and my Dad's first one as well.

Against Texas A&M and we were near the student section, and as the Aggie Band takes the field, a drunk LSU student yells at a tuba player, "Hey, thats a nice hat there buddy, if I had two, I would sh*t in one and cover it with the other."

We still bring up that line about once or twice every year.

<that was for all of those earlier responses>

Actually, my dad loved the LSU baseball games. He liked sitting down the 3rd base line to watch the third baseman fire the ball across the diamond. Once during a game, before the left field bleachers at the old Alex Box, some kids were hanging over the fence (feet on the old chain link fence) and banging on the wall. They made an announcement for the kids to get down from their spot. Well, I was standing close to the foul line, not banging on the fence, so I though I was safe and didn't move. A minute or so later my dad came and grabbed me by the arm and walked me back to the bleachers. All of the guys standing on the top row of the bleachers down the line were ragging on me with the old Dragnet theme.

My dad is a typical negatiger. After years of watching LSU lose, he finally gave up on the Tigers and quit watching.

Well, now I go home every year for Thanksgiving, and I make him watch the Arky away games with me. That hasn't worked out too well, because we keep losing to Arky on the road.

So Dad says to me, "its bad luck to watch football with you". He stopped watching LSU and Saints games with me.

He wouldn't even watch the Saints win the Super Bowl with me around.

Still love the Ole Man, tho.
