Would it be possible for these guys to put a basketball collective together. We are talent deficient but in the portal/NIL era, the roster can be flipped in a hurry.
Just a thought on how to improve quickly.

Shaq could do it if he wanted. His net worth is 400 mil and he owns or is a partner in many businesses. I tried look up Brandon Landry's net worth. Couldn't find it but I found this funny. Seems one of the hollywood rag websites is confusing Brandon Landry. LINK

Shaq is a businessman. He has previously cut his own kids off including Shareef from their financial allowance, stating "they have to earn it the hard way, just like I did". I seriously doubt he would front an NIL deal to some 18-19 yr old kid who is likely gonna be a 1 and Done or possibly transfer after 1 year looking for more $$$.

we already let him meddle and it brought us Johnny Jones as coach.

A good coach reaches out to the alumni base for help building a culture, usually not the other way around.

Perhaps Enquist could focus his attention more on LSU basketball than he is trying to stop St. George.

Shaq was pretty pissed (as were most of the people on here) how Shareef barely got playing time because Wade kept Efton Reid in the game so much last year even though Shareef was clearly playing better.

New staff, can’t hold that against them. I know he loves the school dearly, again just looking how to get an influx of talent

Shaq is a pretty keen business man. Not sure he could get his arms around investing in NIL with little to no ROI.

Shaq won’t give his own kids excessive money. Why would he think others deserved it. That said, he could certainly sell some Ring doorbells and Papa John’s Pizza with them.

He may have sold his ownership of Ring - not sure.

The latter seems like a much more worthy use of time than funding a basketball team.

You need to add: "and men's basketball ONLY" to your post.

This is why I was suggesting alumni who played basketball, and would probably care more about the program
