Props to you, big guy. Even if it is a mostly on-line school, that's still a big accomplishment .

I heard about this. Online school or not, a doctoral degree is no joke. Also, getting a 3.8 is very impressive. Props to the big guy. Something to definitely be proud of. I remember when he finished off his bachelors degree back around 2000 because he promised his mom he would. He seems like a pretty great guy, on and off the court. Congrats

That is a ZERO accomplishment - ZERO. You can crow till the cows come home, schools like this and the University of Phoenix, are an abysmal embarrassment to what higher education is supposed to be about.

The same guy who said "Kobe, tell me how my arse tastes", earns a worthless piece of paper and you guys congratulate him - get a life.

A grown man who threatened to sue a message board, acting like a big bad arse on the internet, because he got his feelings hurt by a couple of posts by anonymous posters. You truly are a worthless POS.

I had a friend take some Univ Of Phoenix online classes and they were just as hard, if not harder than all my MBA courses.

Higher education is a joke in general. Most of my classes are predominately online or straight out of the book anyway, the only reason people go to class is if the professor deducts points for absences. I could easily learn everything they're teaching me by myself. Most professors don't care about teaching as much as they do about their research or publishing their work. I've actually learned more from my undergrad online classes than most of my face-to-face classes and I know plenty of other people who can say the same. It all depends on the teacher and only some actually care about teaching. You should check your ignorance.

You're way off base, bud. He has accomplished more in his life so far than you ever will. He is also a great advocate for LSU. Even if you have a doctorate degree (which I HIGHLY doubt) from somewhere more reputable, what good does it do anyone in this world to look down upon someone or cut someone down like that? He obviously worked very hard and set his mind to achieve such a goal. It surely shows your character that you feel the need to trash someone like shaq for trying to better himself through education. Stay classy sir.

WTH man? Shaq doesn't have to do shite and he continues to dabble into many endeavors and explore so many different aspects of life.. And you are saying to get a life? He is the IDEAL person of actually having a life and living it. That's pathetic on your part.

Don't know where you guys are getting the idea that Barry is an online school.

We are talking about Barry University right ?

It is a private, not for profit, Catholic university.

They only have 3 online programs.
