SF coach Todd Golden to Florida heavy smoke……darn

We are possibly looking at a 5+ year postseason ban, 10 years of probation, and losing half our scholarships.

What? That is absurd and ridiculous.

Good grief. I really don't agree with such punishment for a new regime and new players who had nothing to do with any of it. Who in basketball lately has received such punishment?

Sources: Florida is targeting San Francisco coach Todd Golden to be the school’s next basketball coach.
Pat Forde
@ByPatFordeConfirming @PeteThamel report that Florida is closing in on San Francisco’s Todd Golden as its next coach.

They posted this at noon?
Seems a little late for them to still be in bed, huh? Obviously, Pete woke up first - posted - then roused Pat to share the news...

Did you just make up all those numbers? I’m not sure the NCAA has even given a school a 5 year postseason ban. I doubt this will be the first.
The NCAA has given postseason bans for single Level 1 violations involving an assistant coach. LSU has 6 Level 1 violations involving the head coach spanning 4+ years.

Didn't Louisville only get a 1 year post-season ban for paying hookers?

You couldve just said, yes you made them up.

Edit: Also, they are allegations, not violations.

I wouldn't be mad at that but if he isn't winning, I can see colossal melts at his play style which is tough to watch even at its best

They are 6 allegations that the NCAA determined to be proven true. There are other allegations that the NOA didn't mention because it would require Wade's bank records.

Louisville's NOA is due out soon. The 1 year postseason ban was self-imposed. They could be in the same situation as LSU.

It really is funny how fast people fall from grace on the Internet. I can remember when this board couldn’t get Woodward’s dick out of their mouth

Lol, um no. Thats not how this works. You might want to look up the word allegations, nothing has been proven true. Lsu has not been hit with any VIOLATIONS yet.

So Florida is just going all in on up-and-coming coaches and hoping one of them hits.

Worked out pretty well with Donovan.

There are 6 allegations and only 2 have any associated documented evidence....

There is a difference between alleging violations and proving violations.

Not believing a bullshite organization like the ncaa has nothing to do with conspiracy theories, its called critical thinking.

And the media narrative we have been sold for the last 4 years does not equal the NOA.

We have been sold bull shite narrative by the media and the LSU administration has been managing the sports programs based on this fake news.

Here is an idea, how about managing your program based on reality and not what Pat Forde wants.

They are called ‘allegations’ for a reason. The ncaa can literally make up whatever they want and the school has the ability to refute it (ie, Kansas).

Why don’t you try actually reading the NOA. They have the evidence to prove each of the allegations. They even say which ones they didn’t bring because they couldn’t prove them. I’d love to hear you idiots tell us what defenses you would raise in response. Please astonish us with your legal acumen.
