I am getting old and I don’t think I can remember a 5 year period when everyone was on same page. Even when Saban was here the administration hated him and he was “Nick the Dick”, Charley Mac split the base, Arnsperger was gone too fast etc.
It’s time to fricking admit it’s us not them. We are the fricking bi-Polar fan base of the SEC.
Can we at least wait for the GD loses before we start bitching. Saban has one thing right for sure, our fan base definitely has catastrophe syndrome

The fan base was split Miles’ entire tenure.

The fans were divided in Saban.
Revisionist history won’t allow most to acknowledge that , but if the post histories from that long ago could be pulled up , you’d see the proof. Also sports radio was back and forth, as well.
The knock on Saban was he was too conservative offensively and played not to lose.
I remember it vividly and so do others. I can recall sayin to a buddy of mine, these idiots are gonna run the best coach we have ever had off with this stupidity.

BS That's a unicorn at LSU.
Plenty folk didn't believe in either of last 2 NCs.

Help Mac Pack, Get a U-Haul for Stovall, etc. goes way back!
Even when Saban was hired my neighbor wanted to know who that Clown was? At work they ripped Miles when he was hired. I go back to the 50's and I got a rule do not like anyone!

I didn't care for Miles's coaching style as much with the "attack their strength" mentality, but I sure did like his winning percentage. As long as their winning, I don't care who the coach is. One caveat is no triple option like Ga. Tech.

The week before Tigerdroppings went live

Everyone was probably excited and ready for a fresh start after Miles was fired following the frustrations of his last few years and being divided over him for so long.
So I’ll say 11/25/16, before Alleva went full retard the following day.

Every Saturday when the Fighting Tigers take the field. Every Saturday Night when the sunsets and Garth Brooks Calling Baton Rouge is played and LSU takes the field. before and after the game a lot of people bitch but game time all True Tiger fans pull for a W by the Tigers

I knew Miles was shite WAY BEFORE THAT.

My fandom was in its infancy under Charlie Mac. In the time since the I’d say the closest to United I’ve seen was under Arnsparger, tbh.

Well then you’re retarded. Miles might be the GOAT LSU coach

Week after Troy we were pretty united.

I cheer for O now. I defended Miles for years until the BCS abomination. I remember thinking Saban was a jerk his last 2 years but never talked the guy down. I don’t get the current fans who would rather bitch and hope we lose than pull for CEO.

I agree, Arnsperger was the closest I have seen too but he didn’t stay long enough to have everyone turn on him

Negative. Unless we are literally on Bama’s level, our fan base will find things to bitch about!
